Other than that, the set is amazing, and I think totally worth the $350. Also the cockpit pieces are not a solid red, and you can see through it, which bothers me just a bit.

The only cons I have for the Gunship itself are there should have been more printed pieces, like the Republic symbol on either side of the ship gave me a bit of a challenge to get those on perfectly. Would have at least loved to have seen an updated clone pilot. Of course there’s the downside of not getting the greatest figures, which LEGO asked us what we wanted, but at least they make sense, and they both have great detail. You really have to see the Gunship in person to really understand the massive scale of it, ITS HUGE! I’ve built many UCS sets, but this one is on par with the greatest Star Wars sets that have come out. The build was a small challenge, but a rewarding one. It looks great from all angles, and has such amazing building techniques to really make it look as accurate to the movie as possible. I’ve loved the prequels and the Clone Wars growing up, so this was a must have! The detail and accuracy is spot on, and looks stunning on display.
